These paper roses are made from dinosaur picture books and encyclopedias! Each rose measures 3-4 inches in diameter and is on a plastic, leafed stem. Price is per rose and each rose is different.
These roses support our readers! Each year, I supply the 5th graders of West Marshall Elementary with a grant that provides each kiddo with money to purchase a book at the Scholastic Book Fair in October. I strongly believe that kids being able to choose books that interest them is important to developing a good relationship with reading and want to support each kiddo as they grow and develop skills that they'll take with them on to Middle School. (Funds are used each book fair and then any remaining funds are carried over to the next year's kiddos - if I ever feel there is an excess, we'll expand to granting the kinder kids with books also to welcome them to grade school.)
